Our Story

Hi, my name is Frank Sbragia, creator of the one-of-a-kind Tissue Caddy, a simple device that allows you to replace tissue boxes with rolls of tissue paper, so you never have to buy tissue boxes again and help the environment.

I came from Florence, Italy, at the age of five to Chicago, Illinois. At 17, I purchased my first restaurant Salerno’s, in Morton Grove. I continued to grow as a restaurant owner and have had many successful establishments. Ten years later, I opened Ermandos in Deerfield, next to follow were Rossini’s in Niles, Sassi’s in Prospect Heights, Spazio de Lucca in Northbrook, Salernos in Mount Prospect, and lastly another Rossini’s in Palatine. Throughout the years of being a restaurant owner, there were three reasons I loved most about owning restaurants. The first one was I was able to work with my family on a daily basis, first with my parents, brother and sister, and later my wife and children. Second, I loved being around my customers because it led to many great friendships. The third reason was the success. I believe I was very successful because I worked very hard, but mainly because I have a lot of common sense. That is how I came up with the Tissue Caddy. It just makes sense!
